That just makes me cry. There are only a small handful of other people I have ever TRULY wished evil on .. but I really do hope that BP goes bankrupt over this. What they've done to the entire Coastal US is beyond criminal.
after viewing the photo you posted (as well as the other pictures in that series) and the following video http://claytoncubitt.tumblr.com/ I'm convinced that the human race has no business being stewards of this planet. and it will only get worse.
On dateline last night I think they showed this bird or, god knows, another just like it, trying to move. I couldn't watch much, because it is so heartbreaking. And when the various talking heads came on it just felt like "Blah, blah, blah." Frankly since they aren't halting all offshore drilling and pumping immediately, then all the words are meaningless, aren't they?
That specific picture reduces me to tears and utter horror each time I see it. I agree with tiofra. We as human beings have royally screwed up the planet. I don't however put the blame solely on BP. We are all complicit in this.
We all drive cars, eat Doritos (bags is a made with oil), use water bottles, like saran wrap - the list goes on and on. CB - I love ya but you apparently get coffee each day in a disposable cup. We consume oil and thus companies bring it to market. LA has a long history with the oil and gas industry so it is a tad hypocritical to bite the hand that has been feeding the state for years. American's have always liked cheap gas, we should pay much much more for the stuff - if our costs were like Europe there would be a change in behavior. We've also let the industry "self regulate" way too much. We all have this oil on our collective souls and until we change our lifestyles and dependence on oil I sadly don't see this changing any time soon, which is pathetic.

Looks like the british are trying once again to drive the cajuns out of their homeland.

The suffering that has been inflicted on these innocent creatures by man's greed and carelessness is unimaginable.

That picture is the worst of all pictures since the oil disaster began. BP is NOT cleaning up the oil spill.
This makes me sick.
