A children's treasury of photos from today's 'Who Drag' parade in New Orleans
Today former Saints quarterback and WWL radio personality Bobby Hebert, fulfilling a promise made long ago by the now-deceased sportscaster Buddy Diliberto to march down Bourbon Street in a dress if the Saints ever made it to the Super Bowl, led a procession of hundreds, if not thousands, of male Who Dats in drag through the French Quarter. A kind reader sent in a few pics she and her husband took today of what some are calling the "Who Drag" parade. Enjoy (Click on the individual images to enlarge them)...

And finally, here's a camera phone pic of Bobby someone sent me...
The Thibodaux Daily Comet has a story on it as well as a few more pictures here.

Final tally on the turnout was 2,500, including some friends of mine struggling to pedal boy's bikes in dresses...
Crowd estimate was 85,000. It seemed like more - just look over Hebert's shoulder in the last photo.
I foresee a competition between the Redskins "Hawgs" and the Saints "Belle de Jour."

I want those gold "Who Dat" boots!!!! Know where I can get them?????
whether it was 2500 or 85000, there's something so happy-making about a bunch of men in dresses. looks like the flask and the solo cup were the most common accessories. righteous!
@Anonymous--
The owner of the gold Who Dat boots said it only took some spray paint and a Sharpie to get the job done. Get you some!

CB- I was at the parade of Buddy's Beauties. Pure Who Dat Awesomness! And had to be way more than 2500 too, the parade lasted well over an hour. Was so cool with alternating chants of "who dat" & "Buddy D" Shame ya missed it!
