Sarah and Todd Palin to Divorce?!
Whoa...here's some rather jolting weekend news that might provide some answers to plenty of questions about Palin's behavior in recent weeks...two Alaskan bloggers who've long been on the Palin case are claiming today that Sarah and the First Dude are done. The Immoral Minority was the first to report this:
According to my source Sarah is finished with Todd and has decided to end their marriage.
She has purchased land in Montana (I wonder whose donations paid for that?), and may be considering moving herself and the children as far away from Alaska as she can get.
Do you remember all of that talk about her missing wedding ring during the three part going away picnics? Well it turns out that ring now sleeps with the fishes. Apparently in a fit of anger Sarah stripped the ring from her finger and tossed it into a lake.
I also learned that there was an incident back in the summer of 2008, before the McCain campaign officially tapped Sarah, where Todd Palin pulled a gun on Levi in a heated exchange concerning his relationship with Bristol. This news will be hitting the local papers here in town next week. Stay tuned.

The Palins were noticeably not speaking to each other at last Sunday's resignation speech in Fairbanks. Sarah ditched Todd (MSNBC) right after the speech and left without him. Sarah removed her wedding ring a couple of weeks ago.
Todd Palin told Fox News last week that he was heading back to his job in the oil fields of Alaska, yet Sarah recently signed a book deal reportedly worth $11 million.
The ditching of the First Dude was reported on MSNBC's website last week but somehow flew under the radar. I'd never heard about it til reading about it in these blog posts. Here's what Norah O'Donnell said about it:

In fact it's all wrong. Barrack and Michelle are divorcing and the kids are staying in the White House. Michelle has decided to marry Rush Limbaugh and live in Florida. The new happy couple will be married by Reverend Wright and Al Sharpton will be the Best Man.

Palin’s resignation obviously puts yet more pressure on Obama to finally get some results, as the soaring rhetoric isn’t hypnotizing the plebes like it used to... and now there's another viable alternative waiting in the wings.
Alaska was a pretty corrupt system until she stepped in. Her reforms took on entrenched politicians (inc. Republicans), a mafioso-style union boss, and Big Oil.
Wouldn't it have been nice if Obama had been principled and brave enough to confront the corrupt Chicago Democratic Machine? Or shady political operators like Tony Rezko? Racist preachers? Instead of doing business with every last one of them?
IMO Palin could trounce him in 2012, when Americans would vote for the Gipper-in-Heels in droves- they'll surely being looking for such an antidote to the Bolshevik con-artist who's currently taking a wrecking-ball to this society.
No wonder the far-left moonbats -along with Team Obama's David Plouffe and his internet squads- are out to destroy her.

Palin divorce rumors just business as usual from the enemies of a real conservative GOP
The Democrat left and GOP elites fear Palin’s popularity with conservative voters as well as her independence from their control and direction. They have done all they can do to destroy her marriage, family, children and her vision for America and will continue to do so.

As of 8/18/2009 this remains untrue and another one of those liberal and deluded marxist lies.
Those that dane use "bolshevic" or "Marxist" in this context (or any that concerns the president, or their own detractors) should learn what those terms really mean before tossing them into any attempt to excuse a bush-league freak like palin. Like anyone else, she cannot any longer blame outside forces for the undoing of her career or marriage--both were, clearly, opportunist shams which could not be sustained.
