"Daniel" by Bat for Lashes
I caught this much-buzzed about band on Letterman Friday night and, well, kind of fell in love. I love their sound, which I find extremely dark and sexy, and I really, REALLY dig this song...
A side note...when I first saw the lead singer of this group I remember thinking to myself, "hmmm...she looks kind of familiar...where have I seen her before?" Uber-internet person Rex Sorgatz has a theory that might explain that feeling, and I think he may be right.

Yeah, Wow I've never agreed with a post more.
Like, I used to just see these 'hipster' whatever kids outside indie rock shows and the art dept at school (or in american apparal ads, and I guess in blogs and stuff).
But now they're everywhere, as if it's now mandatory for everyone under 30 to dress like that
So many tights/single speed bikes/ Ironic mustaches.
and I like in the midwest.
Hell even my ultra-stereotype frat boy friends were raving about altporn and burning angel.com yesterday.
