Take a look inside one of those nutty, right-wing "tea party" organizing meetings

Hey look...a bunch of "real Americans" got together somewhere in Ohio recently to talk about doing patriotic things like not paying taxes and throwing tea bags at the American flag or something, because that's what heartland conservatives do to show how patriotic they are! Funny how whenever someone runs off to Canada to avoid losing their life in a ill-conceived war that person is branded a traitor, while abstaining from paying taxes because the guy you didn't vote for is the president is somehow considered to be an act of patriotism, isn't it?

Anyway, fortunately for us, someone attending the meeting made a video of the event and uploaded it to YouTube. And it's loaded with illuminating crazy talk! Now, I've seen this posted in a couple of different place over the weekend, and in each post the writer posting it seemed most taken aback by the book-burning talk near the end of the video, but to me that's just old hat. What really took me aback was the guy who stood up to explain how the digital TV conversion, a "brainwash device," set to take place in June is the culmination of a 50-year plot by George Soros and "the media" to indoctrinate America into communism. That's a new one to me! Even better, the guy claims to know this because he's in the marketing business. Yeah. And naturally Fox News and Glenn Beck are lauded as the only outlet for "truth" in all of the media.

This "battle for our survival" is almost as sad as it is scary...
