Charlie Rose interviews "Planet Earth" documentarian Alastair Fothergill
Two years ago, when this here blog was in its infancy stages, I raved about the Discovery Channel series "Planet Earth." It remains one of the more remarkable pieces of television I've ever seen, filled with images of events in nature probably never before seen by human eyes, like the birth or a Humpback whale. If you've never seen "Planet Earth," I implore you to rent it, or go see this film at the very least.

CB, I listened to an interview this week on NPR with Terry Gross talking to Mr. Fothergill. It was fascinating and I had already decided to see both of his movies. Thanks however for this clip because for some reason it is always wonderful to be able to put a face with the name. (I pictured him as a skinny hirsute geek) Nice surprise!
