Withered old asshole McCain refused to shake Obama's hand after the debate
I can't remember wanting to punch an old man as much as I do right now. Political differences aside, he's a fucking prick. I had to watch this three times to believe what I saw, which is him backing away from Obama's hand and offering up Cindy instead...

UPDATE: Though I have yet to see it personally, a few people have emailed to say that the two did shake hands at some point after the debate.
Whatever, McCain is still a prick.

My roommates and I thought the same thing! WTF?! It was like, aaaannd FAKEOUT!
Either McCain is deathly afraid of Obama, a closet racist, or has demonized Obama so that he doesn't feel bad attacking him.
Regardless, it fits in with McCain avoiding Obama's gaze during both debates, not referring to him by name, etc. And yes, one of the right after pundits caught this too.

I thought Obama did very well. I like that he is FINALLY going on the offense against McLame.
The only answer I didn't like was the last one about "what don't you know". The grandma and foodstamps thing is getting over played.
I had a great answer (albeit a little ballsy)that I was trying to mentally send to he. Here goes....
"The one thing I don't know is if this country and our way of life as we know it, can survive if you elect my opponent. Four more years of ecomonic policies that brought us to our current crisis. More reckless governmental spending. More dependence on foriegn oil, and more short sighted foriegn policies."
Does it play?
Then he could have gone into "what he does know", and talk about his politics....
I believe one of his advantages over McCain is his intelligence, and captivating insight.
Like I said, I though Obama did rock, but I think he missed a big chance to just blow Mccain out of the park on that last question.
they apparently shook hands immediatly after the debate was over...remember, they got in the way of the teleprompter....it seems that mccain wanted obama not to ignore cindy...he just did it in a really obnoxious way...whatever
Actually they did shake hands, in the video shown McCain is trying to get Obama's attention so he can shake hands with his wife. Here's a photo of them shaking hands:
