Lying liar McCain takes bottom-feeding to new level, launches William Ayers attack on Michelle Obama

(via The Sugar Sheet)

The McCain/Palin beast is indeed unleashed. From Talking Points Memo...

The McCain campaign is now broadening their attack on Obama's past association with William Ayers to include Michelle Obama -- even though McCain has repeatedly said spouses should be off limits during the campaign.

The attack? Bernardine Dohrn, Ayers' wife and fellow former Weatherman, went to work in 1984 for the major Chicago-based national law firm of Sidley & Austin, and three years later, Michelle joined the mega-firm as well.

That's the entire attack. We wish we were joking. But we aren't.

In launching this latest, McCain is ditching yet another formerly-claimed principle as he faces the growing likelihood of defeat. In a statement back in June, the McCain campaign said: "Senator McCain agrees with Senator Obama that spouses should not be an issue in this campaign, and he has stated that position frequently."

Well, since it's open season on spouses, maybe we can delve into Cindy McCain's drug addiction? Hmmm...wouldn't that be fun?!

Still no word out of Alaska on the Branchflower Troopergate report. I've heard from people on the ground there and it's supposedly massive...about 1000 pages in total, and that the members of the legislature are working furiously to edit it down to about 200 pages to be released to the press and the public. Waiting...and wondering just how low they will go as America burns and they sling mud instead of providing answers to lead us out of the shitpit...

CB,

I'm quite sure I'm losing my mind. It's about 6:50 central as I write. Not 10 minutes ago I saw video on FOX NEWS of John McCain defending Barack Obama as a decent American and a family man. His supporters BOOED!
OK, I'm off to get some thorazine, the acid finally caught up with me.
WTF?

RJ

you don't want to hear it said...

The "scumbag" defended Obama with his own supporters today, enduring boos from his own supporters.

Maybe you can cut the dude an inch of slack. You all talk about civility and offer none.

Just wondering. Is is o.k. or even legal for a Florida sheriff to address a political rally (especially in such an hate filled manner) wearing his uniform of office? As such, he is supposed to represent all people. This seems highly irregular to me. Just wondering.

and who was the first to float this?

it was john murtaugh

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfEcZlO-APE

murtaugh was 9 when his home was bombed...no one was ever aprehended and no one ever took credit for the bombing...yet murtaugh is sure that it was the weathermen (even though his father was the judge in a black panther related case and the panthers and the weathermen never really worked together) the only evidence that murtaugh has that it was the weathermen, is a book written years after the incident.

murtaugh is not an investigator, but someone fed him that line to drop on fox and friends

really nice

so because he was a victim, he cant be questioned and everything he says must be the truth....bullshit
