Here's how your Sarah Palin "executive experience" sausage gets made

Hey, remember the absolutely laughable assertion being made by Republican party mouthpieces that Sarah Palin had more executive experience than Barack Obama or Joe Biden because she had been commander of the Alaskan National Guard in her time as governor of the state? Well, as you may recall, one of the main people to rebuff that assertion was Major General Craig Campbell, the guy who happens to be the actual commander of the Alaskan National Guard. Here's part of a story that the AP ran last week...

But, in an interview with The Associated Press on Sunday, (Campbell) said he and Palin play no role in national defense activities, even when they involve the Alaska National Guard. The entire operation is under federal control, and the governor is not briefed on situations.

In another article from the Boston Globe, Campbell had this to say about Palin...

"She is very much engaged in what we are doing and she asks a lot of questions," Campbell said. "Maybe not the most engaged, but definitely engaged.

Now, a few days after these quotes were published, Major General Campbell appeared on Fox News and, miraculously, his views on Palin's experience had changed dramatically. Hell, he actually sounds like one of those robotic drones who serve as spokespeople for politicians. Coincidentally, Major General Campbell was promoted by Governor Palin three days after this interview to the rank of three-star Lieutenant General. With this move, Palin made Campbell one of the two highest ranking National Guard officials in the country. For all of you kids out there, watch this video closely to learn how one gets ahead in life by selling the fuck out. The rest of you should put on a helmet as you'll probably be suddenly overcome with the urge to ram your head into a brick wall...
