I see brain tumors in our future

These videos have popped up on Youtube in recent days. I'm sure that there's a perfectly simple explanation for this (there always is), but I'm still pretty fucking disturbed.

UPDATE: There's an interesting article about the dangers of cell phone use in one of the British newspapers that someone sent along. And Gawker's Nick Douglas did some investigating into the videos above.

hoax? if it's not, I better not eat any unpopped popcorn and then walk past a cell site pole. probably the peanut butter choc chip cookies will get me before the emissions from phones.

this is why I'd rather text people from my cell phone and I am careful as to where I rest my phone for too long and (it never goes near my boobs or in my pants pockets - lol..seriously) and I always try to have some barrier between myself and it if I'm not using it...call me paranoid but I never trusted them to begin with...they all heat up way too fast and a few times my listening ear would tingle if being on the phone for too long. So yeah, I would say those videos are pretty fucking disturbing too. Thanks Pony!

Popcorn is mentioned at the bottom.

superwife, it looks like you are. I'm really sorry.

Caj (and anyone else) please go buy an EMF neutralizer from Aulterra. They sell them at Whole Foods, or if not your local one go online. I first learned about these patches when someone from the company was on public radio. He sounded pretty damn credible. I have stickers on my phone, printers, computer etc. I prefer to believe they work. Can't hurt.

Thanks to CB and Anon for providing the links that debunks this experiment. I still don't trust them lol...phones and laptops get too hot for my taste to rest on any of my body parts for too long.

i always use a headset, the wired kind.

mostly because i hate holding a phone... this way, i can use my hands, and i look like one of those crazy people who walk down the street talking and waving their hands.
