who are the ad wizards who came up with this one, part 9674?
has government regulation over the marketing of pharmaceuticals, something i happen to know a little about, relegated them to employing the advertising tactics of man with a van moving companies and homely looking dudes who teach guitar lessons? well, if the flyer that i ran across on a lightpole at the corner of mulberry and houston is any indication, it most certainly has!
the above photo was taken with my camera phone, so it's a bit grainy, but i'll translate it for you...
MISSING. 2 HOURS.
Last seen while waiting for Claritin to start working. If found please call 1-800-ZYRTEC
i called the line and what's on the other end is a female voice recording detailing the wonders of zyrtec. what, are they not allowed to hand out pens and sticky pads anymore?

Have you seen Chris Rose's column yet today? If you haven't, check it out.

@candice...YES! i was just tipped off to the fact that he mentioned me in his column. can't tell you how tickled i was. i've been a fan of his for a long time and, though he may not remember it, was nice enough to mentor me a bit over the phone about 5 years ago. great writer and a greater guy.
These signs are all over the city, apparently. I think that the pharmaceutical company in question should be ticketed numerous times for posting flyers (which is technically illegal).
hilarious! i'm wondering what you were expecting to hear when you called and what coversation would have taken place if it was a live person...
I just saw one! I just saw one! and wanted to scream your name. Creeeepiiie
That sign looks like the Ron Paul signs in my hometown. They're either posterboard nailed to an electric pole or spray painted plywood.
I am ripping these flyers down every time I find one.
i am also reporting this to city agencies to see if the company can be fined.
do we really need this kind of pseudo guerilla marketing crap on top of the existing crap allover our city streets. If they are getting free advertising they need to be stopped...soon evry other asshole company will be pulling this stuff
I'd suggest that "Missing Signs" be left for things that are truly missing.
